The Heating element is mounted in top of Kiln, providing added safety measures, & aides with fusing & slumping glass. Also available with elements in the side-walls. The vertical-drop door is spring-loaded and has a smaller punty rod door to allow glass to anneal safely. A punty rod can be used to insert your Figurine (which can be up to 11" tall), and then will safely extend from the punty door, outside the fire chamber. The 3 Key Digital Sentry Xpress controller has 8 different Ramp-Hold segments, along with a Skip Segment and a Program Review. Up to four programs can be stored in its memory. Electrical Components are located in a stay cool slotted base. Heat refracting firebrick insulation (2 1/2") and Safety Pilot light. Includes a Fiber Top design. The fiber top design allows the elements to be replaced if needed and diminishes the potential for dusting on the glass work.
